It’s been a while since I last wrote so I thought I would tap out a brief note to let you know what has been going on at Carterton Veterinary Surgery, and what we have in store for the future!
Our team has been busy expanding rapidly!
In the last month or so Emily, our new vet, has been very successfully getting to grips with life here at the Surgery. She is here on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays and is looking forward to getting to know everyone. Amy has also joined us. She has started her life as a student veterinary nurse at the Surgery and is a joy to work with and ‘have around’. Lastly but by no means least, Naomi has joined us as a Registered Veterinary Nurse and is proving to be a great asset!
Jemima, a Registered Veterinary Nurse, who has been with the Surgery from the start, has been promoted to Head Nurse and is managing the ‘troops’ with great skill.
We have been very fortunate to see our client numbers ever increasing and it has been great to meet our new clients and their pets.
Activity wise we have a few events planned.
The first is another evening talk mid November which is titled ‘Keeping your child safe around dogs’. This talk will be given by Blue Cross and will be held at the Surgery on Wednesday the 12th of November at 7:30pm. Please contact us if you would like to attend. Everyone is welcome so if you know someone who may be interested in coming along please do tell them.
The second is Christmas! We are busy with our first Christmas card and are looking to have a pet as our shining star! Please send any festive Christmas shots of your pet to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will enter them in the prize draw. The winner will be on our card!!
We wish you all a very good run up to Christmas and look forward to seeing you again.
