Carterton Vets Ltd processes your personal information to meet our legal, statutory and contractual obligations and to provide you with our products and services. - Teleos Systems Ltd provide us with our Veterinary Practice Management System and cloud hosting of our database. They act in the capacity of a processor on our behalf because they host our customer database. The information we hold on the Teleos System is your name, address, email, contact phone number(s) and insurance policy provider and number.

Animal Healthcare Ltd
- We use Animal Healthcare Ltd to set up and process the direct debits for our Pet Health Club and they act as a processor on our behalf. The only information we provide them is your name, address and bank sort code and account number.

Carterton Vets Ltd takes your privacy seriously and we take every reasonable measure and precaution to protect and secure your personal data. We work hard to protect you and your information from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction and have several layers of security measures in place, including: -
- Valid and up to date SSL certificates to protect the personal data you submit from our website
- An Information Security Policy and Data Protection Policy that sets out how we manage the security of your personal data
- Highly encrypted links to our Practice Management System where your personal data is processed and stored
You are not obligated to provide your personal information to Carterton Vets Ltd, however, as this information is required for us to provide you with our services and for our legitimate interests, we will only be able to provide first aid and pain relief as required of us by the code of conduct of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.
Carterton Vets Ltd only ever retains personal information for as long as is necessary and we have strict review and retention policies in place to meet these obligations. We are required under UK law to keep your basic personal data (name, address, contact details) for a minimum of 6 years after which time it will be destroyed.
Where you have consented to us using your details for direct marketing, we will keep such data until you notify us otherwise and/or withdraw your consent.
Occasionally, Carterton Vets Ltd would like to contact you with details of the services/competitions/promotions/newsletters that we provide.
